MIXED LOTS. Worldwide Miniature Decorations.
19 pieces in lot. Includes: A display bar of (5) WWll era British pieces, a chain with (4) older miniatures including a Turkish Medjidjie order and Prussian 1870-71 War, 1866 Sadowa and Iron Cross orders and decorations. These are on an 80 mm gold colored chain and it appears one medal has been lost. A 55 mm fine gold chain boasts an excellent display of miniatures: The Annamese Imperial Order of the Dragon, the Portuguese order of Christ, the Tunisian Order of Glory, the Order of the Sun and the Lion from Persia, the Spanish Order of Isabella the Catholic and the French Academic Palms. Also includes single French Legion of Honor miniatures for the Henry lV to Louis XVl period and the 1815 100 days period of Napoleon. A pair of more modern French issues are displayed on a single mount-merit Postal and L'Economie Nationale. Retail value of about $1,250. SOLD AS IS/NO RETURNS.VERY GOOD-UNCIRCULATED.
