NABATAEA. Aretas IV, with Shuqailat I. Circa 9/8 BC-AD 40. Æ (15.5mm, 2.82 g, 12h). Petra mint. Undated, but attributed to years 26–48. Aretas, in military attire, standing facing, head left, holding spear and sword; palm frond to left / Shuqailat, veiled, standing left, raising hand. CN 187a; cf. Meshorer, Nabataea 69. Earthen dark green patina, a little off center. VF.
