KINGS of MACEDON. Antigonos I Monophthalmos. As Strategos of Asia, 320-306/5 BC. AR Tetradrachm (26mm, 17.07 g, 11h). In the name and types of Alexander III. Tarsos mint. Struck circa 316-301 BC. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin / Zeus Aëtophoros seated left; ΣY in left field, monogram below throne. Price 3805 (Carrhae?). Lightly toned, scratches, delamination and light scuffs on reverse. Good VF. Very rare, seven in Pella, three in CoinArchives, none in ANS photofile.
