Ferdinand I gold 100 Leva 1912 MS61 Prooflike NGC, Kremnitz mint, KM34, Fr-5. A fleeting issue that is encountered with greater frequency in Proof Restrike designations, but rarely as an original example of this lower mintage issue, of which only 5,000 were struck. The present offering is made further impressive by its Prooflike status, resulting from highly mirrored fields and devices amply laden with golden frost. This emission has seen surging popularity in recent years, justifiably so for its rarity, and we note that of all PL-certified examples to date, none currently certify finer than "62PL" with NGC. Of the very few Deep Prooflikes recognized, only a single example certifies numerically finer.
