Republic gold Ducat 1929 MS67 NGC, Kremnitz mint, KM8, Fr-2. A far and away superior example of this "trade coinage" type, and one that vastly exceeds any reasonable expectation of quality for the issue, which by all measures has surged in popularity in recent years alongside other Czechoslovakian rarities. The central fields display a delicate sheath of golden frost, contrasting with shimmering luster that brightens the legends, while close inspection reveals pure Mint State quality, gem and minimally handled since the coin was struck close to 100 years ago. An impressive survivor in all respects, and an offering will easily be met with fervent interest.
