Christian IX Specimen 2 Rigsdaler 1864 (c)-RH SP65 NGC, Copenhagen mint, KM772.1, Dav-79, Hede-4a. Clearly the product of great care in its preservation and showcasing precisely rendered details executed to pinpoint precision, concisely struck upon a specially prepared planchet bathed in ample reflectivity and die polish. The reverse face is especially fine for the designation, imbued with a gentle frost to the intricate wreath, lending to the advanced aesthetic caliber of the piece at hand. With only two Specimens noted by NGC, this and an SP66, we expect advanced collectors of the Danish series to take particular interest. Sold with Sincona auction tag.
