George V gold Proof 2 Pounds 1911 PR66 Cameo NGC, KM821, S-3995. A razor-sharp offering dripping with copper-gold reflectivity, and apparently absent a single instance of visually significant handling. Decorated in a veil of golden frost across the designs, producing a hint of cameo contrast against nearly pristine fields, whose only noteworthy feature appears in the form of parallel die polish lines traversing the open expanses. We note that no examples of the type currently certify finer than PR67 at NGC - a testament to this specimen's superior preservation.
