Late posthumous issue in name and types of Lysimachus of Thrace, Tomis, period of the 1st Mithradatic War, 88-86 BC. Diademed head of deified Alexander III right, with horn of Ammon / ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ / ΛYΣΙΜΑΧΟY, Athena enthroned left, Nike in outstretched right hand crowning royal name, left elbow resting on grounded shield decorated with star pattern, transverse spear beyond; ΦΔ monogram below right arm, TO on throne, filleted trident left in exergue. Müller 269. Wonderful portrait of Alexander the Great well struck on an attractive matte flan.
