Christian IV Krone 1620-(c) XF45 NGC, Copenhagen mint, KM59a, Dav-3517, Schou-32, Hede-106b (RR), Sieg-84.2 (RR). A very rare privy mark for this handsome 17th-century Krone, represented in auction records of the past several years by a single other example, which showed pronounced planchet flaws at the top and bottom of the flan. Far more attractive than what one would typically expect for the grade, light friction resides over the highest points of the design, though this keeps from blending the more intricate features together.
