Louis XIV Ecu 1713/0-(cow) MS62 NGC, Pau mint, cf. KM387 (overdate unlisted), Gad-230 (R4; same), L4L-366 (R4; same), Sobin-Unl. One of the rarest dates from this mint according to Gadoury and L4L, further coupling enviable preservation with an apparently undocumented overdate in the standard literature. Apparently the only example to have come to auction in the last 20 years, this coin remains incredibly attractive despite pronounced obverse flan adjustments, the surfaces wholly lustrous and draped in an airy pearl patination.
