Republic gold 8 Escudos 1838 Go-PJ AU58 NGC, Guanajuato mint, KM383.7, Onza-1940. A considerably scarcer mint-date to find as a non-overdate, with this being only the second such example we have offered. To date, only a single specimen has been awarded with Mint State status at NGC, with this piece showing clear underlying luster in spite of the typically flat strike.
