An exceedingly scarce date in gold seemingly seen at auction only once every few years, and confirmed by a sheer paucity of examples certified for the type across all dates, most years only having a single entrant in the population reports. While this is the most common date, the eye appeal, while dressed in harvest patination and a distinctly strong strike, is advanced and certain to garner much interest when crossing the auction block.
