~ Regrettably the earlier Spink tickets as advertised at the CNG auction were not checked, otherwise the discovery that they actually relate to Barr, Part III, no. 381 (dies II/II) as testified in the Spink Numismatic Circular, July-August 1986, no. 5029 would have been noted. The errant tickets evidently became confused at the time of the Barr dispersal and are not applicable here but are nonetheless recorded for posterity in the hope they can be properly reunited. ~
