(x) NGC XF45 | George III (1760-1820), Emergency Issues (1797-1799), Oval-Countermark Dollar (8-Reales), 1794-IJ, Lima (Peru), laureate and draped bust of Charles IIII right, oval countermark of George III in centre, rev. crowned square-topped shield dividing pillars, security edge, 12h (Bull 1858; ESC 133; Spink 3766), a highly appealing example with light tone overlying lustrous original surfaces, the host coin a really good very fine, the counterstamp similar, in NGC holder, conservatively graded XF45 (Cert. #2786498-001).
