(x) NGC MS61 | Victoria (1837-1901), 'Young Head' Crown, 1844 VIII, star stops, young head left, with two ornate fillets, W. WYON R.A. on truncation, rev. crowned shield in wreath, incuse lettered edge upwards, 6h (Bull 2561; ESC 280; Spink 3882), sporadic bagmarks and slightly bright, otherwise quite brilliant, the reverse handsomely honest and thus a choice example for this especially difficult series, a majestic and bold extremely fine / uncirculated, in NGC holder, strictly graded MS61 (Cert. #4657959-001).
