CHINA - Private Issuers. Lot of (148). Mixed Denominations, Mixed Dates. Fine to AU.
148 pieces of Chinese private issue notes in lot. Printed between late Ching to Republic Era for the circulation in the following regions: Beijing, Fukien, Hunan, Honan, Hupeh, Hopei, Kiangsi, Kiangsu, Kirin, Kwangsi, Shantung, Shansi, Tientsin. Mostly issued by private banks with some of them issued by local businesses such as shoes shop, cookware shop, car dealership, pawnshop and mining company. Majority of the notes are printed with lithography (stone plate printing), a few of them are printed with offset printing (rubber plate printing) and intaglio printing. Issues are found on some of the notes such as tears, splits, staining, spindle holes, pinholes, holes and toning. SOLD AS IS/ NO RETURNS.
