(t) CHINA. Kiangsu-Chingkiang. 10 Cash, CD (1906). Kuang-hsu (Guangxu). PCGS MS-64 Red Brown.
CL-KT.16; KM-Y-10d.2. Variety with 9 flames on fiery pearl. An EXCEEDINGLY SCARCE variety, the present example displays a lovely decoration of mint red that makes the surfaces glow. Luster bounds off the planchet, with a satiny cartwheel effect. A slightly soft strike is the only fault on this piece, but as the finest graded example of the type certified by PCGS, this beauty is certain to meet with spirited bidding by the many collectors of 10 Cash pieces.
Estimate: $2000 - $4000
