(t) CHINA. Kirin. 7 Mace 2 Candareens (Dollar), CD (1901). Kirin Mint. Kuang-hsu (Guangxu). PCGS Genuine--Chopmark, EF Details.
L&M-536; K-423; KM-Y-183a.1; WS-0430. Variety with regular "S", dot in left of Manchu character. A quite SCARCE variety, this example displays good details and an attractive subdued toning throughout. A couple of medium-size chopmarks on the reverse "Bei" (North) and "Tian" (Sky) account for the lack of a numerical grade, but nonetheless, still a very handsome example.
Estimate: $700 - $1000
