(t) CHINA. Yunnan. 10 Cash, CD (1906). Kuang-hsu (Guangxu). PCGS MS-63 Red Brown.
cf. CL-YN.08; KM-Y-10v. Variety with small "tien". A tough coin in Choice condition, this beauty presents a stunning display of mint red and boldly struck details. Good amounts of luster rebound light, and the handsome surfaces are fully engaging to the senses. Very little contact and marking make this example a prominent and beautiful copper certain to be much desired. The English legend shows an unusual doubled punching, especially on the G in "CHING," though this is a somewhat special die characteristic and not included in the CL book on Chinese coppers.
Estimate: $1500 - $2000
