(t) CHINA. Qing Dynasty. Cash Pattern or Mother Coin, ND (ca. 1824-50). Board of Revenue Mint, Western branch. Emperor Xuan Zong (Dao Guang). Graded "85" by Zhong Qian Ping Ji Grading Company.
Hartill-22.580. Weight: 6.0 gms. Small Guang variety. Obverse: "Dao Guang Tong Bao". Nicely preserved and attractive, this specially prepared piece displays a light grassy coloration with areas of richer patination amongst the devices. The characters are crisp and well defined with smooth rims and surfaces. It is evident by the high state of preservation that great care of has been given to this piece and is sure to make a nice addition to the next collection it enters.
