CHINA. Qing Dynasty. 100 Cash, ND (ca. March 1854-July 1855). Board of Revenue Mint, Eastern branch. Emperor Wen Zong (Xian Feng). Graded Genuine by Zhong Qian Ping Ji Grading Company.
Hartill-22.708; FD-2430; Jen-1618. Weight: 46.8 gms. Fou Bao, six stroke Bei. Obverse: "Xian Feng Yuan Bao"; Reverse: "Dang Bai". This handsome survivor displays attractive rich brown tone with richer coloration amongst the devices. Close inspection reveals tasteful smoothing of the open fields with much of the original surface texture still intact. Despite its shortcomings a handsome representative of the type that is pleasing to the eye.
