CHINA. Qing Dynasty. 100 Cash, ND (ca. May-August 1854). The Prince Qing Hui Mint (Board of Revenue). Emperor Wen Zong (Xian Feng). CHOICE EXTREMELY FINE.
Hartill-22.717; FD-2431. Weight: 46.99 gms. Obverse: "Xian Feng Zhong Bao"; Reverse: "Dang Bai", dot and crescent. A nicely preserved example from this short-lived issue displaying attractive rich mottled brassy patina with minor earthen deposits amongst the devices. Most of the original rough surface texture along with much evidence of the finishing process on the rims and high points is present with little signs of wear. A choice example of the type sure to be a welcome addition to the next collection it enters.
