(t) CHINA. Qing Dynasty. Sichuan. 100 Cash, ND (ca. 1854-55). Chengdu Mint. Emperor Wen Zong (Xian Feng). Graded "82" by Zhong Qian Ping Ji Grading Company.
Hartill-22.981; FD-2532. Weight: 49.4 gms. Obverse: "Xian Feng Zhong Bao"; Reverse: "Dang Bai". This nicely preserved and handsome survivor displays attractive brassy patina with richer coloration in the naturally rough surface textures of the open fields. Close inspection reveals a somewhat crude casting of this large size Cash issue with minor earthen deposits in the crevasses adding to its pleasing appearance.
