CHINA. Beijing Shizuyinbao. Beijing City Pure Silver Ingots. Silver 10 Tael Sycee, ND. VERY FINE.
BMC-Class XXII Group B; cf. Chen-60. Weight: 375.9 gms. Center: "Shi Zu Se" (Pure quality); Left: "Bao Xing Hao" (Baoxing bank); Diagonal: "__ __ Run". The left stamp is bold and nearly complete, while the central stamp is weak in the middle due to the unevenness of the ingot face. The last stamp is uneven and weakly applied with only partials of the characters. This medium-size ingot displays lovely old cabinet patina indicative of prolonged storage in the right environment sure to see spirited bidding from collectors.

From the Mark and Lottie Salton Collection.

Estimate: $1500 - $2000
