cf. BMC-Class LXVI Group I # 934. Weight: 173.9 gms. "Yuan Sheng Li Ji Hui Hao Wen Yin" (Yuanshengli Bank, Remittance bank fine silver); "Tong Chen Kan Gong Gu" (Inspected by Tong and Chen, public assayers). The central and outer stamps are deeply impressed with nicely formed characters, though the outer stamps are incomplete. The assay stamps, though slightly cockeyed exhibit bold characters with easy identification. Close inspection reveals a scuff mark and on the rim from long ago, but is hardly distracting. The surfaces display a light gray tone with areas of richer coloration and minor earthen deposits adding to its originality.
