BMC-Class LXVI Group I # 981. Weight: 191.3 gms. "Qing Feng Sheng Ji Hui Hao Wen Yin" (Qingfengsheng Bank, Remittance bank fine silver); "Gong Gu Tong She Duan Kan" (Inspected by public assayers Tong, She and Duan). This wholesome looking example exhibits deeply impressed outer stamps, while the central stamp has a bit of weakness with a natural void as is commonly encountered. The added assay stamps are a bit cockeyed, but with clear legends. Minor earthen deposits amongst the devices and crevasses complement the rich gray patina offering much originality and is pleasing to the eye.
