BMC-Class LXVI Group I. Weight: 178.65 gms. "Wan Bao Yuan Ji Hui Hao Wen Yin" (Wanbaoyuan Bank, remittance bank fine silver); "Gong Gu Tong She Duan Kan" (Inspected by public assayers Tong, She and Duan) stamped twice. This handsome example exhibits boldly applied outer stamps and added assay stamps with crisp well-formed characters. The central stamp though full does exhibit a slight weakness on small portions of some characters. The surfaces display a light attractive gray patina with minor earthen deposits amongst the devices with hints of iridescent tone that pops out when tilting.
