CHINA. Dollar, Year 3 (1911). Tientsin Mint. Hsuan-t'ung (Xuantong [Puyi]). PCGS AU-50.
L&M-37; K-227; KM-Y-31; WS-0046b. Variety without dot after "DOLLAR". Entirely argent, this phenomenal example displays a sharp strike and wonderful details that have been subjected to only light and even circulation. Good luster remains prevalent, with it most prominently displaying near the characters and protected recesses within the dragon. Some slight friction and small hits are noted, but these are consistent for the grade and do little to extinguish the handsome nature of the piece.
Estimate: $3000 - $4000
