Five-Colored Flag of the Republic of China and the Iron Blood Eighteen-star flag of the Wuchang Uprising tied together, round disc below, inscription "Zhong Hua Min Guo Zi You Dang" (Liberal Party of the Republic of China), "Guang Dong Zhi Bu" (Guangdong [Kwangtung] Branch); Reverse: Inscription "Zan Cheng Yuan Chen Jiong Ming" (Member name: Chen Jiongming). All suspended by a white ribbon with red outer stripes, white tassel below. This charming badge displays a lovely brassy patina that accentuates the finely engraved design features. The ribbon and tassel show a bit of age and discoloration, but are intact. A handsome piece that is certain to pique the interest of academic scholars studying early Republican politics.
