CHINA. Qinhu Leprosy Hospital. Blue Plastic Jiao (10 Cents), ND (ca. 1980s). EXTREMELY FINE.
NAL-152. China was one of the last countries to issue money for leprosy patients, with tokens of this type produced for internal hospital usage during the 1980's. All denominations were produced in plastic, and all had a central hole. This piece does display some deposits and evidence of usage. A RARE and esoteric piece for those who are interested in exonumia.
Estimate: $500 - $750
