Obverse: Busts of monarchs, churchmen, architects, and others related to Westminster Abbey: Edward the Confessor, Henry III, Elizabeth I, Henry Yevele (master mason), John Islip (abbot), Henry Purcell (organist and composer), Richard Busby (headmaster of Westminster School), Nicholas Hawksmoor (surveyor and architect), Arthur Stanley (Dean), and Eric Symes Abbott (Dean); Reverse: View of Westminster Abbey; to upper left. Edge: 1065-1965, no 633, and hallmarks. Mostly yellow-gold in color, this alluring and impressive specimen--offering over 3-1/2 ounces of gold--also exhibits a captivating matte nature to the surfaces.
