KOREA. Order of the Taeguk Set, ND (Instituted April 17,1900). CHOICE EXTREMELY FINE.

These were awarded to First Class Official, Chief of the Navy and Army who had been awarded the Second Class of Taeguk and held their position for more than 5 years. Aside from a couple of small cracks in the enamel on the Sash Badge and the Breast Star the enamel is intact and nicely preserved. Both exhibit light attractive patina that complements these lovely merit medals.

The suspension is a white enamel plum flower with green enamel leaves below, silver jump ring above. Sash is not present.

2) Second Class Breast Star (88 mm). Baroc-10: Silver eight-pointed multi-rayed star, superimposed by a small eight-pointed multi-rayed star with white enamel, the central medallion is a red and blue enamel Taeguk. The reverse is inscribed in seal script as Second class.
