Issued by decree of 20 December 1834, suppressed 31 March 1837 (By Decree of 1 February 1836). Applied to the obverse of an 1834-Go ON Mexico Republic 8 Reales. This lovely example displays an attractive gloss on the host coin, with attractive iridescent color in the fields and a boldly applied countermark. Very little evidence of handling is noticed, making this piece a premium example for the grade assigned.
