SYRIA, Seleucis and Pieria. Antioch. Vespasian, AD 69-79. AR tetradrachm (14,49 g). Dated NHY 1 = AD 69. Laureate head right / Eagle with spread wings standing left on club, holding wreath in beak; palm frond to left. A (date) in legend (out of flan). Struck on the usual tight flan and slightly off-center. Light doubling on obverse and a few tiny scratches. Good metal surfaces with only very light porosity. Attractive iridescent cabinet toning.
