SYRIA, Seleucis and Pieria. Antioch. Vespasian, AD 69-79. AR tetradrachm (15,09 g). Dated NHY 2 = AD 69/70. Laureate head right / Eagle with spread wings standing left on club, holding wreath in beak; palm frond to left; B (date) in legend. Struck on the usual tight flan. Good metal quality. Small flan crack and die-break on obverse. Lightly brushed on obverse and with a few small marks. Well-struck and with a bold portrait. Attractive light iridescent toning.
