Vespasian. AD 69-79. Æ dupondius (14,49 g). Rome mint, struck AD 71. MP CAES VESPASIAN AVG COS III, Radiate head right / TVTELA-AVGVSTI, Tutela seated left, placing arms around a child on either side; S C in exergue. Edge damage at 1 o'clock and small scrape on reverse. Uncleaned deposits in fields. Attractive brown-red patina. Very rare and only two other specimens recorded in the online auction archives.
