M AVREL ANTONINVS AVG GERM SARM TR P XXXII, Laureate and cuirassed bust right, slight drapery on left shoulder / IMP VIIII COS III P P, Nude Jupiter standing right, head left, holding scepter and placing right hand on top of trophy to left; two captives seated at base of trophy. Small spots with corrosion. Gently smoothed in fields. Very attractive brown patina. Very rare, only three recorded by Gnecchi. A truly stunning piece in hand.
