Diocletian. AD 284-305. Æ medallion (38 mm, 30,97 g). Uncertain mint, sruck circa AD 290. IMP C C VAL DIOCLETIANVS P F AVG, Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right / MONETA AVG, The three Monetae standing facing, the outer two with heads left, holding scales and cornucopiae; heaps of coins at their feet. Some re-engraving of details and heavily smoothed. Likely repatinated. Still a nice specimen of a rare medallion. Brown patina with copper/bronze highlights.
