KPICΠINA CЄBACTH, Draped bust of Crispina right, wearing stephane, wavy hair coiled at back of head / ЄΠI OKT AP - TЄM - IΔΩPOV APX A around, CAITTHNΩN in exergue, Men wearing Phrygian cap standing right, holding pine cone and scepter, crescent behind shoulders; Cybele wearing turrented crown seated left, holding patera and resting left elbow on drum. Attractive green-brown patina with overlying light earthen deposits. Expertly cleaned. A few tiny old scratches in reverse field. An intriguing and important medallion of Crispina. One of very few specimens known and one of two recorded in RPC.
