Laureate bust right, wearing aegis / Eagle with spread wings standing right on thunderbolt; palm frond to right; A (date) in upper right field. Earthen deposits and some green encrustations on the surfaces. A few small marks and scratches. Light cabinet toning. An attractive specimen of this early issue. Very rare and one of 9 specimens recorded in RPC. RPC II online, 1936 (# 7 this coin), McAlee 324, Prieur 103 Grade: 1+
