IMP CAES VESPASIAN AVG P M TR P P P COS III, Laureate head right / IVDAEA CAPTA, Palm tree; to left of tree, Vespasian standing right, foot on helmet, holding spear and parazonium; to right of tree, mourning Jewess seated right on cuirass. Some roughess. Small area of fill and smoothing of red encrustations. Green patina with areas of darker and lighter tones. An attractive specimen of great historic importance.
