Brunk-S1021; Rulau-NY1027S. 6.78 grams; 28 mm. Between 1853 and 1854, silversmiths Seymour H. Stone and Calvin S. Ball countermarked US coins as well as Spanish colonial silver and English halfpennies with their business name, Stone & Ball. About VF host coin with bold XF countermark, light edge shave at 4 o'clock, dark gray silver toned throughout.
