Kingdom of Macedon, AR tetradrachm, Alexander III (the Great), 336-323 BC, lifetime issue, struck under Antipater as Governor of Macedonia, Amphipolis mint. Price 89. 17.07 grams. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion's skin headdress / Zeus seated left, holding eagle in right hand, sceptre in left; crescent in left field. Bright non-toned AXF made more interesting by being a lifetime issue.
