Obverse with standing mother holding baby and with one standing child on each side above cornucopia to left and flower on stem to right within legend LA PATRIA AL Y. DEFENSOR DE SU INDEPA.; reverse with bare head of Belzu above clouds and wreath inside legend M.Y. BELZU PRESID. CONSTITUCIONAL. with Potosi monogram and date 1854 at bottom; diagonally reeded edge. AU+ with interesting S-shaped struck-through fiber across Belzu's bust, faint surface hairlines in the reverse field, red-gold toning around the legends.
