Potosi, Bolivia, cob 8 reales Royal (galano), 1656 E, PH at top, pomegranate above cross, NGC Fine details / holed, Lazaro Plate Coin. S-P37a; KM-R21; Cal-1416. 26.77 grams. Bold full details all over with honest, even wear, mostly dark fields (good contrast), holed at top of pillars / right of cross, noted in Lazaro (#146, rarity R2) as different from the other 1656's in lacking a solid inner ring within dots on both sides.
