Anguilla, 1 "Liberty" dollar, July 11, 1967, countermark on a Mexico City, Mexico, 5 pesos, 1948, Cuauhtemoc, PCGS MS62. KM-X2. Host coin with nice luster and bold portrait of Cuauhtemoc, the countermark lettering bold and struck on a diagonal compared to the portrait, interesting type made by San Francisco Chronicle editor Scott Newhall to support Anguilla's secession from the British Commonwealth, with only a couple thousand of the 11,600 silver dollar-sized coins countermarked actually sold to collectors and many of those melted in subsequent years. PCGS #40566878.
