Colombia, copper-nickel 50 centavos, 1978, offset partial brockage error mated pair, rare, NGC Mint Error MS 65 and MS 65. Restrepo-424.9. A very dramatic error and rare to encounter both coins together from the same error striking. NGC label notes "Mated Pair / Coin 1 of 2" and "Coin 2 of 2"; the first coin is in a thicker holder. NGC #6288548-003, -004. Pedigreed to the Bernal Collection.
