Colombia, copper-nickel pattern for 20 centavos, 1956, NGC MS 67 ("top pop"). Restrepo-P230. Prooflike luster, apparently a test strike (for an unadopted design) with overly bold relief on the bust that caused significant weakness in the bottom of the arms on reverse, but nearly pristine grade-wise, tied with one other for finest in NGC census, in addition to another at same grade but called a specimen strike (SP). NGC #6442573-027. Pedigreed to the Bernal Collection (stated on label).
