PTOLEMAIC KINGS OF EGYPT. Ptolemy V Epiphanes, 205-180 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 28 mm, 14.01 g, 12 h), Alexandria (?), after 198. Diademed head of Ptolemy I to right, wearing aegis around his neck. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΠΤΟΛΕΜΑΙΟΥ Eagle, with closed wings, standing left on thunderbolt. SNG Copenhagen 244-245. Svoronos 1489. Bright and well struck. Tiny flan crack at 1h on the obverse, otherwise, extremely fine.
