EGYPT. Alexandria. Domitian, 81-96. Obol (Bronze, 19.60 mm, 4.66 g, 12 h), year B = 2 = 82-83. ΑΥΤΟΚ ΚΑΙΣΑΡ ΔΟΜΙΤΙΑΝΟΣ ΣΕΒ Laureate head of Domitian to right. Rev. L B Griffin seated right, resting left forepaw on wheel. Dattari (Savio) 6826. Geissen 328. K&G 24.14. RPC II 2487. Very well-struck, with a sharp portrait, a bold griffin on the reverse, and a dark brown patina. About extremely fine.
